About Linda Ranne
Hi, I’m Linda! I was born and raised in Estonia but my ever-growing wish to live abroad brought me to the Netherlands in 2020. The lessons and new perspectives brought along by life as an international student and expat have strongly shaped me as a person and steered my work as a psychologist. I believe that all human beings carry more perseverance, kind-heartedness and wisdom in themselves than we oftentimes think. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients rediscover their inner resilience, self-compassion, and empowerment to take hold of the hardships in their lives.
During my undergraduate years, I studied language sciences and psychology at the University of Tartu, Estonia. Being compelled by the clinical side of psychology, I continued to widen my knowledge by following the Clinical and Developmental Psychopathology research master’s program at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the Clinical Psychology master’s program at Utrecht University.
There is only one way to learn. It’s through action. Everything you need to know you have learned through your journey.
– The Alchemist
In my work, I mainly follow Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. Most importantly, I aim to tailor the treatment specifically for my client’s needs, keeping in mind their life experiences, cultural background, current values and future goals. I also believe that transparency, collaboration and patience go a long way during the treatment. Recovery is a gradual process rather than a quick race, and together, we will work as a team to learn new skills and reach your personal goals.
